waw just like what I do! i thought only me having this way, but the problem, my hair soooo silky can't hold the curls too long even with hair spray.. got any tips?
Hm wish I can try this my hair is to long and it would take me forever to roll into a bun but, it wouldn't hurt to try going to buy bobby pins since I don't have any ;)
I tried this out last night. I did get some volume and shape but the curls were all going in different directions. Maybe I rolled the strands while making the little loops. will try it again.
I'm going to hairdresser tomorrow to finish the process of finally becoming full fledged blond, as I'm a highlighted blond right now, and this will help a lot.
This seems awesome! I'm going on vacation and won't be able to bring styling tools, to hopefully this will help me to have somewhat pretty hair! Thanks!
omg, this is the first heatless curling method thats actually worked on my hair! its so amazing, i use it all the time, thankyou soo much for this idea :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
@andabreadwasmine My hair use to be that long too. I use to have to make it damp before bed, then give it another hour or two longer than "usual" because it was so long it would just weigh down straight. I just bought some mild hair gel from a salon and it works great. You can try just a quarter (lil more maybe) on your damp hair before rolling it up. Should work fine! :D
I've got alot of hair but it's thin.. maybe the bobbypins i'm using are to small..it never stays in plays and they get out of its form once i've used them 0.o what am i doing wrong?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a tutorial on how to do a NEAT sock bun with lots of tips!!!!!!!!! I'm desperate to make my bun neat, but it never cooperates
@SophiazSong Hey sweetie, I won't make such a video as my hair isn't long enough to cover a sock and even if it was, being wrapped around a sock with hardly any access of air, my hair would take forever to dry (I live in a cold humid area). The rolled technique that I've shown here produces very similar, but more beautiful results as the ends don't get scrunched and the curl is perfect on the entire length :)
@lilithedarkmoon I believe @SophiazSong was talking about the sock BUN, not about the curling technique using socks...just thought i might point that out...i would love a tutorial for the BUN as well:)
@SophiazSong Hi Sophia, I am in the Army and I had to learn how to make a perfect sock bun everyday in Basic/AIT. If our hair wasn't perfect we would get smoked. So, If you would like I can teach you how to do a sock bun, it is SIMPLE! Extremely easy, AND it actually works with short and long hair. (actually works better with shorter hair- shoulder length) Anyway, Just let me know if you would like to know how and I will post a video if you like. :) Take Care!
@LynsieHarper Thanks for offering! It would be really nice of you to do it. keep in mind that my hair is kinda stiff:) and it's past shoulder length. you're gonna post it on your channel right? I'll be waiting! Thanks again!
PS: It's soooooo cool that you are in the army! Wish ya luck :D!
I will try it out tonight if I don't forget. :D My hair always does what I don't want, so it probably won't turn out as pretty as yours. I will tell you tomorrow!
@WantToKnowMyName It works for my friends with long and thick hair and judging by the feedback of my viewers @KewpieGirl@ForeverStargazer@7eather it works for them too :) You could also use a bun shaper (not the round one, but the long one with a hole in between - google it) to make all the rolls in one go (a single big roll, to be precise :)
Hey dear this look is gorgeous -i love it! I really love all your vids, keep up your wonderful work! =) x btw, i've got a Q. which camera do you use for making your vids??
hi i like all ur hairstyle tutorials...its awesome...:) im havng a very long thin straightened hair havng length below my hip....so can u suggest me some hairstyles n the trick 2 curl it...:)
Trying it right now :) Your hair is a similar length to mine and I also have straight hair so i think out of all the heatless curling hair tutorials out there this is the one best for me.
hey guys if you like her makeup could younplease like this so it gets her attention ao she can do a tutorial on the smokey eye she is wearing please and thank you ?
I'm going to try this tonight! I've been trying to figure out what I can do with my hair without using heat, but still have it look nice. I have long, thin, semi-straight hair. I really hope it works! :)
Im so excited for this weekend! Im going to try this because i never have enough time to curl my hair in the morning's and i straighten it everyday instead and it is dying so i need a new way to do my hair without heat!
I will be doing this tonight, so excited to see how it works! Your tutorials have really helped me with my hair :) Thank you so much, I now don't have two hairstyles but several. I'll let you know how this works out for me ^^
@BloodSunset This worked great for me, going to add a bit of mouse before next time and hairspray in the morning for some extra hold. Absolutely lovely~ Thanks so much!
How did you prevent the crease from the ponytail elastic? I always have a sharp line in my hair no matter how loose I make the ponytail or how high I position it. Thanks!!
@Empathically you can wet your fingers, rub the crease and then comb your hair in that area (make sure that you wet the crease only!) or you could also flat iron it :)
@Empathically 9gag army, need your help, i was browsing today and saw this guy's post on the vote page... he doesn't deserve to get lost forever!! FUCK THE FRIEND ZONE... 9gag.com/gag/2189206
@Empathically@Empathically don't use regular elastic rubber bands. instead, use scrunchies. they don't leave any sharp crease, and it looks more natural.
thank you for your amazing advice which you make with hair, it helps me to create some good and cute looks for my hair. because I am blond woman with medium length of hair.
@TheOrlaighx i've tried this when my hair is wet and even the foam rollers more wet but as a general rule its recommended that your hair is about 70 % dry or for me, just a slight dampness. if its too wet your hair will turn out limp. i've had a lot of trial and error haha
This seems like a great idea, but with my hair, the hair band leaves a mark/indention in my hair where it was, and it stands out separately from the curls. So the curls look good but the dent looks silly. :/ And I have tried to use wider bands over skinny/thin ones and it still does it.
Can you give me some advise? It looks great, and you said that it workes with longer hair, but when I try it,( even with the sock technique), it doesn't work...I mean it stays on for like an hour or so, but then it just falls apart. I don't use any hair spray because I want my hair to be soft and "au naturelle". Do you think it's because of my hair lengh? My hair falls near by bottom so to speak :) Am I doomed forever? ( ia abajaiu tvoi tutorials, oceni mnogo cevo naucilasi)
I love not using hot tools on my hair... Takes so much less time and effort. And I have A LOT of hair so it takes a good half hour to curl. I love putting my hair in a bun on the top of my head before insleep while it's still damp. I wake up with amazing hair haha.
