@anes2teen The song is "Brave Heart", the evolution theme song for Digimon Adventure :) The artist is Miyazaki Ayumi, who also sang "Break Up" and "Beat Hit!" the evolution and Jogress theme songs (respectively) in Digimon Adventure 02, and "The Last Element", the Hyper Spirit Evolution theme for Digimon Frontier.

@devilbabelillia You're right :) And besides, it's accurate enough to the entire franchise :P (Remember that Digimon is more than just a TV show, and the TV show didn't even come first.)

Level skipping has been done even in the show as Warp Evolution, and Patamon can indeed into Angemon, d'Arcmon, Nefertimon, Reppamon, Tailmon (with or without X-Antibody), Tyranomon, Unimon or Witchmon, all of whom can evolve into Ange Womon. Just combine the two evolutions :)

This IS possible. Everyone who is disagreeing is missing three key points:

1) All Digimon of a certain species don't all only evolve into the same Digimon: In Digimon Adventure, Greymon evolved into both Metal Greymon Vaccine AND Skull Greymon. Also see Digimon Adventure 02.

2) Digimon "gender" is complicated. I'll talk about that later if someone wishes to.

3) Digimon HAVE skipped levels before: Leomon to Saber Leomon (Adult to Final: DA) and Keramon to Infermon (Child to Perfect: DA 2nd film).

patamon is a male whose female version is salamon(plotmon)..this is a fact on which even i couldn't believe---gatomon(tailmon) is a male and angemon a female..!!bt then the digivolutions once again turn them to same sexes...

Actually Digimon have genders, no sexes. If all Patamon were male and all Tailmon female, how would you explain Patamon evolving to Witchmon and Tailmon to Betsumon?

There are also examples of male Piyomon , Togemon and Renamon, aswell as female Yukidarumon.

@hsaxena1234 ... I read something on digimon wiki that said the creator of digimon meant for the digimon to not be male or female, even though some forms do look male as opposed to female. It's supposed to be up to the fan to decide, not the people showing us the show.

@hsaxena1234 I just wanted to point out that this is a VERY flawed statement. Protomon is not just a female Patamon. If she was, she'd have the same exact name, attacks, evolutions, attributes as Protomon and just look different. This is about as bad a statement as saying that Piyomon is just a female Gabumon or something. You're forsaking the many differences that make Patamon and Protomon completely different and unique Digimon for the sake of a few similarities. I'm sure that you can see that

You are not getting my point. While the Patamon in the Anime might be a male, another Patamon might be aswell a female. Examples of males and females of the same kind have been in the Anime. This is however not relevant to Digimon Evolution itself, as Genderbending might aswell occur, including a masculine Digimon like Angemon evolving to a masculine Digimon like Angewomon.

Just because it did not happen in the Anime does not mean that it can't happen.

As long as there is an official source backing it up, it can happen. In case of Witchmon it is Pendulum Progress 2.0 Armageddon's Army. For Angewomon there are various sources. I also know the Digimon Wiki you are talking about, that site is as bad as Wikipedia. You should use Wikimon instead.

Patamon first appeared in the Digital Monster ver. 3 released March 1998, where he can only evolve into Unimon, Kentarumon, Ogremon, Bakemon or Scumon.

It wasn't for 11 months that Patamon would evolve into Angemon in Digimon World (1999 January 28).

Patamon currently has 66 possible evolutions.

@leo16mmiv - Would the digivolutions you mentioned be part of the "Armor Digivolution" series? The way I see it (and remember it), Patamon will always digivolve into Angemon naturally (w/o the effects of armor digivolving).

@ThePokemonfan365 Patamon only has 10 Armour Evolutions. That still leaves about 56 evolutions that aren't Armour.

The problem is that you may be subscribing to the idea that Digimon only evolve into one "main" evolution, which is false even in the anime.

Any Digimon has the ability to evolve into multiple evolutions. They have been evolving that way from the start. Don't forget that Digimon branched out from the Tamagotchi, and Tamagotchi evolve differently depending on how you care for them.

Patamon, like all Digimon, has Multiple Evolution possiblities and quite a lot of those can evolve further to Angewomon.

just so you know gato is a champion and patamon is a rookie so the only way patamon digivolves to ultimate is by warp or double evolution but he dosent say warp and patamon is actually a boy if you look at the patamon profile its a boy coz he only digivolves to angemon magna angemon and seraphimon and guardi angemon so its impossible for patamon to digivolves to angewomon

Those are only some of Patamon's Evos. Digimon Evolutions are not set in Stone like those of Pokemon.

Digiimon aren't constructed into genders. Renamon specifically says it in Season 3, and also a rookie doesn't go into an ultimate. So if Patamon had a champion that is of the female type then there probably could be a chance.

@SuperVancouverBC This isn't exactly true either. Not only is it based off of a mistranslated statement, but either way you define genders or sexes, Digimon have them.

For example, you have Digimon couples like Stingmon and Lilamon in Xros Wars, Digimon getting married like Jijimon and Babamon in Tamers, and EVEN Digimon families with children like the Burgemon family.

This statement should be considered fanon by now. It doesn't matter who said it. The anime directly contradicts it enough times.
