It's been shown that the better educated women are in a society, the less off spring they'll choose to have on average. Google search "Fertility rate education". Homosexuality will not have a large influence on birthrates because they're not a large enough percentage. And safe sex methods have only made reproduction a choice.

1) Resources will dissapear leading to mass extinction and war. (worst option)

or
3) Birth control. (best option)
