It's still illegal due to the powers of big companies. Weed has many businesses running scared throught the probable damage to their profit margins - oil and pharmaceutical businesses being two such corporations.

my friends tell me that i drive better stoned than sober... i never crashed in all those years. i did drink and drive once... when i made it home i vowed to myself never to do that again. alcohol makes u think u can drive, weed makes u aware u can crash cuz ur stoned.
ps: i'm from holland and i buy my weed from the goverment. (yup dutch goverment does grow it)
I'm well aware I can get an accident and maybe even get killed or kill someone every time I drive. It doesn't take altering your state of mind with a chemical substance to make you aware of that.
