I guess that he followed the cursed path that lived with him. The people who are known to have that sort of problem commit suicide. He ended his life in order to destroy the alternet paths in his life. When he was reading the articles it mentioned that "that disease" or what ever you call it, is passed down by genetics. If you can see this: it means I'm dead? Nick had to be matcho - tried to control things, in spite of mom's warning! All he had to do is let her tell first! She would have said she was pregnant, & they could of made new plans. But he was immature, so both choices ended in death & ruin. I liked the film. Not your conventional "happy ending" requiered by Hollywood after "good sex". More like Russian films - the "Dark Side" but not diabolical. Business, not spies or military.

This movie was a worst sequel I've ever seen. I will never watch it again. I still think Part 1 had was the best love story line than this love story. At least "EVAN" from Butterfly Effect 1would never had cheated . They should have just stayed away from making a part 2. But Thank You, Moviemanic4ever for posting it.
