Between this and the Rocky Horror Picture Show and "Sweet Transvestite" - this was dangerous and edgy stuff especially compared to the watered down vampire stuff you see today for teens. All you saw on school notebooks was drawings of motorcycles with skeletons - preGaga. Then there was Jodie Foster and the Little Girl that Lived Down the Lane and then Foxes several years later - it was a great time to be a teen.
what is all the bs about the intro that is what makes meatloaf music so great. Nothing is ever the same old same old. lways something new. Dont like it go somewhere else. thank you for this video
This is my favorite Meat Loaf song. Thank God my dad raised me on the 70's 80's and not 90. There were great songs in the 90's. But 70's 80's were 2 great Decade for Music.
To the moron MrTiannaRawr, Meatloaf always portrayed a theatrical approach, followed by solid rock and roll. learn it, love it...I grew up with it years ago and goddamn, it stays. Please learn young one.
And most of you did not know that the lady of the band was married to Robbie Benson. ( and you will say :WHO?? google it) And yes, if you hear it without the intro..just not the same. And most of you do not know that Meatloaf was in Rocky Horror Picture Show. As Eddie.
@MrTiannaRawr The intro is the original way the song was made, and trust me: If you grew up with this song, you would not give the intro away for anything. It's a part of the complete song
@MrTiannaRawr Then I might have misunderstood what you tried to say. I think the intro sounds weird to you because of the voice actors, the song have been made a few times with different actors in the start ;)
@oneweirdfellah exactly...different actors ? people think they can type anything and it will fly? ignorance is bliss 2 funny. i usually try to type a run on sentence or mispell words on purpose...gives the peanut gallery a reason to ridicule me...not easy knowing what fuckin time it is, always! peace out to all those old enough to know what time it is and young enough not to be shitting in their pants or dress for that matter! then again, i'm not quite sure you can shit in a dress? lol. i'm hi
@TQKanstrup Im 23 now but when i was like idk 5-8 Yrs old this song was my shit. My pops had the cd and you took the words right outta my mouth the song would be nothing witout the intro
@TQKanstrup like trying to explain to a 150 pound 12 year old standing 5 foot tall he or she is to fat and should curb their eating ...your talkin to a wall. waste your time voting or something...you will get further with politics, than trying to explain to a kid why the intro is important or anything with music, decades b4 he/she was born. hope u r happy we have both wasted are time typing for no reason, just enjoy the music. ps-its funny how meatloaf sounds good on all players/great recording
If you were in your mid to late teens when this song came out, you were, truly, blessed. Your first love. What a rush! Paradise by the dashboard light, to be sure, as you took the words right out of my mouth, I was just about to say I love you.
Wot. I'm 14 years old and I love Meat Loaf, dunno what music has come to these days to be honest. It should have feeling and meaning, it's far too perfect.
