I've complained to everyone from Ebay (who actually encourages his sort of behavior) to the Illinois States Attorney. The S A did investigate but they flat told me that for this kind of crime it's not even worth prosecuting because the cost would be too much and the punishment he would get wouldn't amount to much anyway. SO.. if anyone's considering a life of crime, I'd strongly recommend moving to Illinois because you don't have to worry about the law there.
Tommy offered me $1000. to just forget this whole 'misunderstanding'. His lawyer says that I'm only complaining because I'm bored!!! Wow! That's the best they could come up with????
That car might be worth $3,000 on a good day. They didnt even bother to sand the radiator plate before painting it and they got over spray on the inner fender it looks like. I could have and would have done a better job if trying to sell for 12,000 I mean come on. This guy's just bending people over without warning and what better place to do it now that we have the internet. Man, that sucks!!!
yeah, idk the circumstances, but i would have looked the car over FIRST, before i sent anyone 12k... im sorry someone like that targeted you, but fault lies on both sides it seems...
He had alot of advertising saying he was "American muscle cars and restoration services". He had over 50 classic cars advertised. I wouldn't have been so trusting, but I THOUGHT I was dealing with a reputable business. And you're right - it's definately MY BAD for believing someone was actually honest.
Dude, you are gullible in a way. Even though you thought it was a reputable business ,pictures of the car were never presented? You have to have known somethin was fishy, look at all the people that say they have 600 hp cars and post them on here. They really think people are gonna buy that crap after watching the car perform and thats just 1 example. Iguess your in the right if he was mis-advertising but thats gonna be a tricky case in court. I hope it all works out for you and the best of luck.
And I Was Thinking Of Buying A Car From Them Now I'm Having Doubts.

I should have added that Tommy "Recommends" using Chris' transport. Chris also told me that this car is "In excellent condition".
