Luke was my favorite of Lorelai's guys, but I did like Max. He was a good guy, had a good relationship with Rory, and I felt bad for him when he was dumped.
I love Max! I think his banter and wit were perfect for Lorelai. Besides that he wanted to be a loving/responsible father figure for Rory. The perfect match!
I always like Max best. Not controlling and neurotic like Luke (hated how he flipped everytime Lorelei went near Christopher) and not a spoiled brat like Christopher.
hahahhaha this didn't happen in this scene.. It was another one, when Rory and Max decided to find non chilton names for each other... So he said he would call her rebeca, and she suggested Norman.. hehhheehe but it's a different scene than this one... I don't know where it is... I just thought it was very funny! :-)))
@paulajoplin I'd have to say it's a triple tie for me at times. I love both Luke and Max plus Christopher :P Actually, first Luke, then Chris, then Max... But seriously, though, Lorelai is the luckiest woman in this show. No boyfriend of hers sucked except for kirk haha just kiddin'
i wish max had been around for more than a season, he was so charming and handsome (and also, a snappy dresser!)
