  • Personally, I think this is a game show that deserves a revival. I thought this was a pretty cool game show. And with high-speed computers being the way some game shows are played (like "Whammy: The All-New Press Your Luck), it could make things interesting.

  • Wemkea...hard to forget a name like that.

She also appeared on TTD around 1985 or so.

  • someone needs to get all the episodes and remaster them to put on DVD! I think that kind of boxset would definitely sell but maybe that's just me :)

  • @Amisbro I am with you, man! Plus, this game along with Joker's Wild and Tic Tac Dough for the Wii,DS,XBOX,& PlayStation!

  • RIP Charlie O' Donnell.

  • liked this game a total rip off of Joker's wild, but from JW's same producers. U could say Tic Tac Dough is similar also.

  • This show might have lasted longer if they'd gotten one of the networks to air it first (this was a purely syndicated show and was never on a network). Tic Tac Dough and The Joker's Wild were, of course, on CBS, and I tend to think the prior network exposure helped them to do well in syndication, too.

  • @fredbird67 Not so sure about that in TTD's case. The CBS version of Tic Tac bombed badly. The syndicated version did great in its own right.

  • I don't understand why it only lasted 2 years, its one of my top 5 faves of all time, the gameplay. The theme especially was awesome!! Wished maybe someone would do a remake of it. Great show let go waaaaaaaaay too early

  • @bambam2124 I totally agree with you, this game show was one of the best ever! The theme music, game set,and gameplay was rockin'!! Loved this show when I was a kid! The gameboard was the best feature of the show however, the sound effects on it and the way it works is awesome! :)

  • From the episodes I've seen, it looks like Wink Martindale was always loaning his pun book to Jim.

  • My favorite part besides the binus game is when the categories & contracts started to flip around before the swirls cover them up.

  • It would have been appropriate if the first Celebrity players were Henry Winkler and Ted McGinley...

  • @JMFabianoRPL (laughs) I get it!

  • The music theme and cues, the set, the intro, "Bullseye" was one of the more underrated game shows indeed.

  • Were Barry & Enright that curious about how Break the Bank would've done had ABC not cancelled it that they had to start having celebs on Bullseye?

  • I started this on the trading circuit 8 years ago.

  • they do have an online version but it sucks

  • I loved this show, I remember coming home from school to watch. Wish they

    had an online version.

  • where do u be gettin the shows at man?

  • It must have been a pain in the ass to push Bonus Island back to its original spot between tapings.

  • It wasn't bad. The island had guide cables, to pull it to the right side of the gameboard, and back to it's starting position.

  • I wonder if someone was crazy enough to ride the bonus island to the side of the board? Has anybody noticed that in the celebrity edition of Bullseye that everytime the Bonus Island goes to the board's side it always bumps into the wall and lightning strikes just to make it funny? I've this a few times watching it from back in the day.

  • BULLSEYE is my all-time favorie game show! Is there anyway anybody out there that can find more episodes of Bullseye with contestants and celebs either knocking up 3 bullseyes, getting nailed by lightning, or just plain chickening out on the bonus island? By the way, it hurts like heck when the odds are in your favor with 2 bullseyes on what I consider the coolest gameboard in game show history and then that vicious lightning bolt comes up on ya! But lightning strikes on the 1st spin? That sucks!

  • I suppose they might have given the two players a berth on Joker or Tic Tac to make up for the abrupt end of their championship/challengership. It would seem to me that those shows would look for much of the same qualities in their contestants.

  • It's odd how they started right in the middle of the bonus round.

  • The ep that aired as a Faux Pause Pick in the summer of 98 ended in the middle of the bonus round. We'll probably never know how that particular contestant did.

  • Tic Tac Dough straddled the bonus round on a few occasions circa 1981-82. That was odder than this. I don't remember Joker's Wild doing this. Hot POtato straddled a bonus round once.

  • Anyone find it weird to start in the middle of the bonus game?

  • I love the music on this show; I know when I went to Disneyland everyone was pretty friendly.

  • Yeah that and.. "starting with our next show we will be switching to Celebrity Bullseye", talk about double bad luck.

  • That's called fixing a great game that was never broken in the first place.

  • The thing is they switched to Celebrity Bullseye because they want to boost ratings, which they thought weren't too good at the time. The game stayed the same, they just wanted more ratings, of course it didn't pan out the way they wanted to.

  • Also weird, actually starting the show in the middle of a bonus game. Rare.

  • What a way to start off the show...
