  • can i make sealand 2 there

  • Anti-zombie sea fortress!

  • just another reason I want to go to Engand

  • What's the name of the song used?

  • Man I really want to look around them, but I don't think the public are allowed...

  • what is this and for what it was used?

  • @lolita19711 world war 2 fort

  • 2:46 look 666 devil place

  • They should be renamed after they're reburbished "Tetnis Estates"

  • well, at least bathroom facilities were never a problem.....LOL

  • Would be a good place for a Science Fiction or Fantasy movie.

  • Hate be on them durning a hurricane!!

  • What a brilliant urbex site!

  • they say the tower that stands alone is haunted

  • creepy as hell!

  • I wonder of the team members of Cyan ever saw any of these forts. They where always good at making really weirdly designed buildings and structures in their games.

On an another note. If found the lay out to be very interesting.

They had the command center in the middle as sort of a hub that can connect to all the other bases with the exception of the Search Light which was the farthest away. The Command center had its four AA towers covering the front of it and the Radio tower on the back.

  • well i know where to go if there is a zombie apocalypse

  • ... these things have, "Condo-@-Sea" written all over 'em.

What a place to live! ... a couple of fast-boats and a submersable... hell. I'd even put a pool or better yet- a big-ass hot-tub on the top deck...

  • thanks for this - really feel what it's like on board one

  • just saying in spongebob didnt he and mr. krabs sing this??

  • I continued watching and Awsome pirate radio

  • who uses these now? i saw there was a good condition camping generator =P

  • its beautiful, almost postapocalyptic like fallout

  • where are these?

  • @knarleysurfer54 herne bay coast line

  • Nice music - "A House Is Not A Home" by Bacharach - who's the singer?

I visited this fort in the Seventies, with Chris Cary (Spangles Muldoon). At that time, the walkways were still intact (-ish). Chris told me they used to wind up the DJs by jumping up and down in the middle of them, which would shake the towers!

    Better times.

  • Nice footage,music sucks.

  • what are those people doing?

  • Comment removed

  • Nice video! U r braver than me!! LOL What song is playing? I love the voice :)

  • @Pressboard - See above (morpheusatloppers).

  • Apparantly they are held down by a weight rather than fixed to the sea floor. and so make a really creepy creeking sound as they rock slightly in the waves...any of that true do we know?

  • Metal gear solid 2 anyone?

  • are these forts being renovated?

  • i thought the linking walkways were removed to discourage pirate radio stations moving into them, red sands was used for a time by a pirate radio station and when they were thrown out the walkways were taken down. becuase i bleive there was a picture, video or news article about them doing it one of the three things.

  • very interesting, I loved this

  • The song is brilliant andworks well with the video

  • These things remind me of the "Big Shell" in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

  • This place looks amazing to visit!

  • How structurally sound are they?

  • I must sincerely thank you for your post. This haunting structure has lurked in my memory since the spring of 1966 when the Secret Agent episode "Not So Jolly Roger" was broadcast in New York City.

  • was there a ladder or a row of steps to climb into the tower? i see them things almost everyday when I go for a bike ride and i stop by the local beach to view them (if its sunny, cloudless and clear of course)

  • Why the fuck do fuckheads have to go and put shit music on their vids.

  • nasty nitwit...go away

  • Picture at 0:24 is my old boat Sea Hawk built in 1947 for Alf Legget.Good sea boat, slow but good pulling power when trawling.

  • The song is "Smokers at the hospital doors" by EDITORS, thankx anyway.

  • Briliant video so who is using them now? I guess if you wanted to live a lifestyle of being outside of society then these would be the ideal place to be.

  • The name of the song please?

  • Id really like to visit one, got any info concerning that? :P

  • Fab work fellas... These forts need to be remembered.. I first saw them on Dangerman in the 60's and you fella's have walked the walk of the troops, the pirate radio, the film stars and the hippi hang ons.. WOW..!!!!

  • fascinating. I always wondered what they were like inside. a great vid!

  • what happened to the walkways between the forts?

  • over time they fell in to the sea

  • Crikey! I thought they had been using the forts till recently?

    Thanks BTW

  • they are being used just you can not walk between them. You have to climb up the bottom of them.

  • @dillywilly17 these are so cool

  • @dillywilly17 They were removed to discourage folk going on them such as pirate radio stations.

  • @dillywilly17 Looks like they were stolen by scrapers??

  • great!!!! love it!!

  • nice one

  • hold the camera still for one second would ya, bloody irritating.

  • its kind of hard when your on a boat on rough waters

  • Excellent work!!!

  • OMG i keep watching this over and over XD

  • WOW this is some exclusive footage, think you might be the only one that has this, great job and thanks for putting it out there for all to see.
