hi i have a dodge aries it was wrecked but had it for 5 years with a different colour bumper.. i know where 3 are at in the junk yard in mint condition .. brand new interior and body.. there priceless but the junkyard guy says he wont sell it to me cause they surrendered the title.. he said its a total lost and cant bring it back is there ANYWAY to get these cars out of the salvage yard i will pay anything but he says money doesnt matter and he doesnt know how to get the surrendered title back.
The only small car I would've consider owning. My grandfather worked for a Utility company in the 1980s and these were the cars in their fleet. He drove a white one for 3 weeks conducting company business and it really had good interior room and nice pickup.
Yes would have to agree with other comments, had an 84 and was very reliable/great mileage, I didn't mind the way it looked either, comparative to other econo cars it had better lines.

I don't get why people hate square designs, I like them a lot better than the bubble shaped cars we have today.

Too bad they couldnt make the wheels square, too. Talk about an ugly box on wheels.

Geez, with the patriotism in this ad, they should have painted the Aries with some stars and stripes.
Unfortunately, then as now, Chrysler didn't grasp that more people want RELIABILITY in a car than anything else.

@MaestroTJS To Be Honest the K-Cars were Known to be Quite Reliable! They had the bullet proof 2.2l engines
jakesaintsrow123 3 months ago
@jakesaintsrow123 very reliable, except for the 25,000 mile head gasket.

jakesaintsrow123 1 month ago

@somewhatlongdong Oh Nice, So you have Owned Many Before. Was the 88 2.5 Any good? Did it have head gasket problems?
jakesaintsrow123 1 month ago
@jakesaintsrow123 just one head gasket on the 88. i thought of it as "preventative maintenance."
