@0PlaceNameHero0 is there any way to trace the area you want and make it a separate layer so when you go to do the eraser you can just go crazy with it and it wont erase outside of the outline you created?

Yeah. Just select the area if you want to go crazy on the inside, and if you want to do the outside, select the aread then hit CTRL + i that inverts the selection.
