  • The thing to remember is even in prog's peak days there was still mostly mainstream watered down simplistic pop played on the radio. Prog got a little more airplay then than it does now, but it was still a fringe genre. I hope it always remains on the fringe. In my life I have seen science fiction literature and films go from the fringe to mainstream popularity, and it's pretty much ruined that genre. It's no longer special. I don't want that to happen to prog.

  • This is true.Prog challenges you to think and most mainstream music does not do that.

  • Screw the radio and screw record companies!!! Long live Prog!

  • IF

I couldn't take it out of my CD player for pretty much a complete year.

  • Thanks for sharing this great documentary, this is the type of thing that keeps prog alive, trying to reach more people

  • Yes, it is very sad how popular music developed and how an avangarde type of rock music is appreciated. But I don´t care, I still play it.
