i live on over a 100 acres of land, and once in a blue moon i go wandering around my property listening to this remix cd. especially with a full moon. just intense. i wish every audiophile could experience what i do on those nights.
It doesnt matter one bit that burials tracks sound similar. Hes created an incredibly unique and individual style, so i've got no problem however many tracks he creates in that style, i dont think id tire of it.
It's not about which tune is better. It's not like this version overwrites the original. They both can excist besides eachother, and people like you can enjoy the original, and people like me can enjoy this remix. Peace.
@Emnor1993 I like it when my favorite artists make music that you can identify them with through similarities. all music is subjective too, so his slightly different styles could appeal more to an individual depending on the day or the mood. knowing i can listen to everyone of his songs and find a similar vibe is refreshing to me
@tarcal87 Yo are you dumb, don't even presume to judge burial and his work you couldn't appreciate the depth and subtleties of it.keep your negative comments to yourself you blood suckin vampire.
@tarcal87 nooo, your wrong though, because he doesn't use the same percussion and effects etc. compare endorphine to etched head plate, and then again to dog shelter and homeless and you will see they are so varied. im not being defensive, i just dont stand for foolishness. if you want to complain and make sweeping generalisations, be prepared for some people to defend what your slagging off.
yep he varies his music, and does have a unique style, which is great.
i like all those tracks you mentioned, they are different indeed, but many of burial's stuff sounds too similar. that's all, not neccessarily a bad thing
@gangstadread dude just listen to the little noise that comes in right before the beat. he def. used that exact noise before in a song. who cares though? that's how he made his style and he's an amazing producer. my favorite dubstep producer ever. you can't just defend him in blind faith.
@tarcal87 He uses lots of different rhythms and percussions, actually. But you're right, his songs do have a similar sound. Personally, to me that's just his style. But imo his songs to me all have different emotions/personalities.

@gangstadread
you are wrong, i appreciate his work otherwise i wouldn't listen to them.
but in each track he uses the same percussions, same effects, same rhythm, which CAN be too repetative after a while.
don't be too defensive about it, i understand you like him much, and so do i.
