The first time I heard this song I wept at its haunting beauty, no other band can affect me so emotionally as The Smashing Pumpkins can. MACHINA is in my humble opinion the greatest piece of music ever recorded, it makes me feel so small, I suddenly become aware of just how large the universe is and of the frailty of the human condition.
I heard this track tonight from my CD and i liked it so much, that i wish to express to billy and all the pumpkins members at the time of machines of god, my most sincere feelings of thankfullness for creating such beatiful music!!
It has a pyschedelic feeling, and is warm, well recorded, and has it all. It is perfect!!
@mercurymadhatter There is no deference between the Machina: The Machines Of God and Machina2: The Friends And Enemies Of Modern Music. They were both going to be in a double album but the meddlesome fat cats at Virgin Records said that the songs weren't good enough to be in a double album so they picked the ones that they said were best and put them on Machina: The Machines Of God.
déprimant... mais un grand morceau quand même!
