so adobe premiere can import any video format like avi, mov, mpeg, or wmv?

yes, it can import all sorts of format, including the one above as well as blue ray as well as flv for internet streaming

actually it doesnt support mov. files I t wont let me I need a video converter!

It does support .mov files. The camera that I'm using records using .mov, you just need to download quicktime player from apple :)
