From my test, it powered the motor slowly for about 24 hours. I haven't calculated the duration of time the capacitor would keep the led lit. For that calculation, you have to keep in mind that once the voltage drops below 1.5 volts, the led will no longer be lit, so the full capacity of the capacitor isn't used. I believe the cost for one is around $68. It could be lower now.
why doesnt it just discharge instantly when its connected?
