I liked this dance very much, loved most of the moves, but my only concern is that it is taking in too many other elements that is obviously from other genres. There is nothing wrong with incorporating, but u don't want to lose the identity of the dance itself. Putting ur leg in between that of ur partner's comes from Mexican music and all the wiggling reminds me of reggeaton. This is not to make any of u defensive. It is just my opinion on what I saw. Overall, excellent.
i wish i knew how to dance.. anything realy.. i dont know how to tango, salsa, waltz, break dance, i think the only dancing i can do is ... club dancing... like the dance a stripper does.. sadly thats all i know how to.. lol why do pros have to make dancing look sooo easy?!

@redboyron probably bcuz this is not an authentic way of dancing bachata. look at how she does the "leg lift" move. that makes it look beginner since those are the basic steps to learning bachata dance. 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4; the "4" being the "leg lift". this is more choreographed bachata for when youre putting on a show.you wouldnt see ppl dance like this at a casual event, unless you are exaggerating moves to for performance or to show off. for authentic bachata check out Jorjet Alcocer

Nice! i love bachata, but I prefer a little slower pace (personal preference), but you guys rocked this song and the pace was really quick, that's not easy to do. It was ok, but definitely not a freestyle unless they had choreographed for other songs and borrowed that choreography during this "freestyle." Tanja and Jorgie still dominate obviously.

@kostastube2010 You can get a really good description of how to do it on the Volume 2 of Series 2 DVD with Dave Paris and Ava Apple that you can find googling "Paradizo Dance" and going to the store. They do it with salsa but the concept is the same, just requires a little conversion to do it in bachata.

It was ok, but definitely not a freestyle unless they had choreographed for other songs and borrowed that choreography during this "freestyle." Tanja and Jorgie still dominate obviously.

@kostastube2010 You can get a really good description of how to do it on the Volume 2 of Series 2 DVD with Dave Paris and Ava Apple that you can find googling "Paradizo Dance" and going to the store. They do it with salsa but the concept is the same, just requires a little conversion to do it in bachata.

GREAT job guys! I teach Zumba and LOVE to incorporate bachata! Especially when it has a hip hop feel to it! Do you ever do woorkshops on the east coast??
