  • Its a hell of alot easyer to crash on into a tree i can never forgive myself for that crash

  • give your son some safety glasses if you value his sight

  • @chevyvictor Safety glasses when sanding with a D.A.???? When grinding, of course but sanding with a D.A. there is no need, as airborn micro particulates are of no concern. Now if you had said put a mask(respirator) on that kid, you would have had me...But in all seriousness those are worn too, but was all removed for photos so his buddies would know its him...you know how it was to be 12...thanks for watching, and for your concern..

  • KICK ASS BRO I GOT 13 MOPARS BUILD UP LIKE U HOPE TO HAVE THEM UP GOOD.. SHIT

  • pay them hell no child labor is what we need!

  • keep up with the good work and good music

  • AC/DC and a 69 charger, Gods gifts to the world! lol

  • im watchin all the vids and you know what youre doing dude,i love chargers!!

  • Anyway this things looks great so far...I'll have to catch up and watch the other vids! Any suggestions for me...I am just starting to look for the car and this could take several months but any advice would be great...I'm a little nervous about wiring the car and stuff but I should be able to figure it out...I am only 16 so I have years to figure it out lol Eventually I will have a masterpiece!

  • Do u own all the equipment needed to restore a car or have u been renting...that my problem rite now is i can't afford the equipment plus the car and frankly I dont have room! Lol

  • @paintballa124 Yeah I own all my equipment, I am an auto body technician by trade, so I've been accumulating all this stuff for years...thanks for checking out my vids....Tim

  • what kind of rims are those? they look kind of like American Racing.

  • @barryismygod Your guess is as good as mine... i have been wondering the same thing since i bought the car...Cant find any markings or anything

  • @RTCHARGER1970 they are cool as hell though and they look good on there you gonna keep them?

  • Theres a pressure washer out now that uses baking soda and H2O thats enviormently safe and wont damage or blow holes threw the body panels like the chemical strppers and sand blasting used on this project plus not to mention a lot less cleanup required! But nice work coming from his at home garage hope your wife dont kill you for the mess LOL remember wipe your feet before entering the house!

  • @ECCCxMECH Thats been around for a while and is already considered a waste of time. There have been many delamination issues associated with the soda blasting process and is not used by professional resto shops, but is used by many novices for the facts you mentioned above. A big selling point was being able to blast around chrome as it will not damage moldings and such, but who leaves moldings on a car when restoring or even repainting?? Not me...

  • if you still have it in 10 years, money allowing i'll buy it off you

  • Good education for that boy, does he realize what that car will be worth when he is your age??

  • @lonewolf7309 Yeah, I've been teaching him the ropes and he is into cars now for sure...He knows which ones are good ones and what they are worth...but still too young to really understand what we have here..

  • what u gunna do about that big weld line down the quarters???

  • @brucekirk89 check out the next video and you will see what i did...All metal was used to fill the seam.

  • can anyone decifer these tags numbers for me?

It advertised as a 1970 dodge charger r/t

    M21 M31 R11 V68 26 END

    FC7 B51 C16 C55 J25 J45

    FC7 C6XW EW1 716 126283

    E86 D32 XS29 UOG 247970

    thanks, Kev

  • @hotbeamer if it has the XS29 in the vin number like on the tag then it is an R/T..plum crazy paint(nice)..440..727 auto...pwr brakes...console..white & blk buckets...white upper door frames..3 spd wipers...hood pins...drip rail mldgs...belt mldgs...am 2 watt radio....longitudinal tape stripe delete....26" radiator

  • @RTCHARGER1970 - thanks for the reply. I found it here in australia, still LHD. The paint and trim combo sounds nice. Not sure what there worth here or where you live but it maybe worth getting her back on the road. Kev

  • @hotbeamer Hell yeah...That car with those combos restored is easily a $30,000 plus car..when the market comes back around in a few years it will be 50 +..That is a very desirable car being an R/T and plum crazy

  • right i do want a 65 only a few $100 left!!!!!!!!!

  • Bet thats a great feeling you got when your dad and your son was helping. Thank god that charger went to a good owner.

  • Yeah, you can't buy moments like that, and the memories will last forever..Thanks for your kind words...

  • "My DAD and my son lending a helping hand..do I have to pay them?" No, but you have to present this ride to your son at his 18 B-day :)

  • Wow, what a graduation present that would be...He wants a 1965 mustang though...thank God!!! I can keep her..............

  • This might be a private question, but how much money did you spend on this car? Restoration+The car when first bought?

  • I'll be into it for around 20K including drive train..Thats doing it all myself..If it were done in a shop it would be around 50k with drivetrain...

  • That's looking good so far! I have a rough as hell '70 500SE. But it was $600 in '07; so it was the most affordable charger I could find. Still in the works at the moment.

  • Thanks!!!...I just re-epoxied the car and applied spray polyester this weekend..now its going on the rotisserie..I've got another video coming in a few days...hows your 500 coming?..thats a nice ride..

  • good job man i've always wanted a 1968 charger

  • Thanks....Yeah these are bad ass muscle cars...I like 68's too but I'm a sucker for the tail pan on the 69 & 70 though...think it looks meaner..but love all three!!!!!!!!
