hate to tell you, but pc wipe programs are a fraud.. all hard drives overwrite data, but it leaves a shadow of what was there, no matter how many times you write over it.. there are facilities that can actually go all the way back to the factory test software and uncover the data by layiers. thought you should know.. only good way to destroy data is to destroy the platters.

After a format the data can be recovered but new data will permanently overwrite the old data and if you fill it up to maximum capacity everything prior to the format is lost forever. It's simple logic, where is it going to store the data from the first format?

on the third fill the phantoms will be harder to find. T^o make it even more time consuming encrypt the last fill even if it is garbage. They will spend valuable time trying to decrypt it..

The magnetized force forced the physical parts to move ALL in one direction "erasing"the data permanently. This is the easiest way to keep your infomation truely secret. And with a little care you can actually rig it so it is entirely concealed.
