  • Thanks, that helped a lot.

  • so simple yet so tricky ^.^ i have to practice hard with the left turns. great instruction sensei::bows:: keep it coming.. (^c,^)Y

  • why u just say kamae instead of basic stance xD u say okuri ashi and stuff ... ?

  • it's the same, kumdo is korean for kendo

  • you also know whats the difference between kendo and kenjodo is?^^

  • How different is Japanese Kendo from Korean Kumdo( in terms of footwork and movements)?

  • Also the words are different. Im from a korean Kendo Club and so we call it like Ja ro and Oo ro for left and right. Also, we dont go over the vocaburary and terms in japanese but in korean. I went to a kendom tournament once and then a child came up to me and started making kendo jokes and i didnt understand him one bit becuase he was saying things i didnt learn. But from words and other terms, everything is still the same.

  • Good to be a help. We have some good suggestions when you cannot hear your instructors. Come to my website and go to Kendo Q&A.

    Thanks!

  • It really helps me since my kendo class is way too crowded and I can't hear clearly things from sensei. Problem is solved here!
