I read some of the comments and disagree with those who seem to be cutting you up...thought it was a good job on a difficult instrument unless you have fingers the size of an infant!! My hands are far too wide and have trouble playing any chord spaning 3 frets on this thing!! I did notice you re-positioning your right hand several times. Thought for a second you were maybe muting or something and the gloves were in the way, but realize it wasn't the case. Was it just because the GL size?

@BassistsDoItBetterr As you may have noticed, this video is 2 years old. And I did know how to fingerpick even back then, but this was back when I just got the guitar, and wasn't used to the size and shorter distance between the strings.

Depends if you want to play in E or A tuning. The guitalele can be tuned in E also, but imo the strings get too sloppy.

The other thing would be the frets. The frets on the guitalele are not as wide as on a guitar, which gives a wider reach, but could also make it harder to hit the right fret.

The guitalele is a nice instrument and I think it would fit for a beginner, just remember that the tuning makes it harder to play along to songs since a guitartab would need to be changed.

First off... SkullCandy ROCKS! Also, I like your gloves - aren't they hard to play with? As far as the music, you were spot on BUT slow down a bit. Let the strings ring a little. Otherwise - Great job. I loved it.

Skullcandy does ROCK! :P The gloves arent really that hard to play with since they dont cover the finger tips.

I use the original tab for guitar, so it's not in tune for the original as far as playing along goes :P

The size doesn't matter. You are still capable of using more then two fingers to pick.

Kind sir, I'm aware of my quantity of fingers. The reason why I only pick with two fingers is because this guitar is not as big as a normal one. You're aware of that, right?

I bet you're the kind of person that would rather fret a chord with three fingers that you could barre with one, just for the sake of using as many fingers as possible. Who cares if he uses two fingers to pick? A lot of guitarist would probably use a plastic pick which would be equivalent to this guy using one finger.

18 for the 3 high strings and 17 for the low ones. It's kinda hard to play on the frets over 12 though

It's ok, but guitalele sounds a lot better in A or G tuning. I might make a video where i compare normal tuning and A tuning with guitalele.

Just as datalapsi says, tune it in A or G, it sounds alright, the sound you get when in standard tuning is terrible, atleast if you ask me, and the strings get to sloppy etc.

Not that hard really. If you've played on a normal guitar it's not that much of a difference playing on a guitalele.
