sadly, more people are getting involved in MLMs like Quixtar/Amway because of hard times; I was promised a part-time job there by my "friend" and I decided to give it a try as I was laid off...After the very first rally I realized the whole thing was a scam, so it only cost me the sign up to get out ($300 or so) which is sad. People, stay away from these con-artists!!!

@julqw2 I agree, stay away from conartists like your friend. They are clearly dragging down Amway's bad name! It is (1) against the rules, and clearly fraudulent, to advertise the Amway business opportunity as a "Job" (2) it costs way less than $300 to "sign up" with Amway (3) Amway offers a full moneyback guarantee if you're not happy.

So yes, stay away from scammers like julqw2's friend. Stick with those that build Amway businesses with integrity, and report the scammers to Amway.
