DPRK's rocket test has put China into an uneasy position. China is unwilling to see any conflict in Korean peninsular, where as a matter of fact is only several hundreds of miles from heartland of China. That's why this time China has shown a very moderate attitude to the rocket launch, suggesting the U.S. and Japan not to take harsh measure against the DPRK. If the tension is to escalate into a conflict, DPRK would go further extreme to reactivate its nuclear test.
agreed. time for playing world's watchdog is sort of over. US administration should better think how to deal with N.Korea on effective and mutual basis. one way approach was shown very ineffective and really provocative.
I'm strongly against the DPRK and their "Communist" Juche for claiming to be a Worker's state while really being a totalitarian dictatorship, but the UN should've just let them launch their damn Satellite. So what if it's on an ICBM Platform? The USA has thousands more nukes than any other given country already.
its a funny thing, the american double standard: america can send things into space and so can its friends, but no1 else, especially a communist country, but then again, china is communist, and yet china is allowed. BUt i guess there are exceptioions for everything, even double standards.
So called "United Nation's most powerful body" as a guy in the video said is really toothless and harmless gathering of people. I bet these people discussed "Korean issue" for few minutes, drink tea together and returned to their $1500 per/night hotel rooms.
Exactly! I think its pretty safe to say that nobody would use things for fear of Mutally Assured Destruction - its just about security. The Jew.S.A just doesn't wan't to lose its edge over other nations - how about they condemn Isreal for stockpiling nukes? Yeah right!
The UN is bullshit. You get what you pay for and America and Europe, Japan basically fund the UN so they get what they pay for, a corrupt piece of shit organization.
If your an American please pay NO attention to N. Korea. Keep your eyes on our congress and president. They just sent up a satellite not a nuclear weapon. And the only reason N. Korea even does anything is because the Western Nation rattle there cage for no reason other for a quick distraction.

I love when the US shows pictures of North Korea, they make it look like there isn't a living soul on the streets...

The US only has to reinstate the banking ban on North Korea and suspend all aid. This will incentivise China to adopt a more useful approach.

Why it's a crime to send a satellite? And even they create nuclear weapons that's their wish. For their security(Probably from Nato).
