  • You can't forget 1-18 INF being there...or 1-7...had to save some 1-26 ass.

  • BAD LUCK FOR US ARMY IN AFGHANISTAN

  • Army Specialist Christopher Corriveau was awarded the distinguished service cross from this battle.

  • It seems a majority of this footage is of 1st platoon B co from 1-14 inf. Thats who I deployed with and thats who is on the roof top. Earlier in the video it was also our patch. 1-14 Inf was the main body in along with tank support from the big red 1. I don't really know who 1/26th Inf is.

  • us army is the best

  • optics have to be requisitioned by an officer, you need to go to your infantry officer and supply probable cause that you would be more officiant with the gear you want.most units and company's bought them from civilian supplier's or off/on base suppliers..

  • I remember this operation like the back of my hand. 1-26 did there job.

  • @Drunkgrenadier Hoooah!!! Rakkasan Infantry 3/187INF Air Assault hooah!

  • You gotta love the US army.

  • how do you go about getting things for your weapons? i noticed that some didnt have forward grips on their M4's while some do and some have different scopes. do you just ask for one?

  • They issue it to who they feel fit. Also a lot of those soldiers bought there own shit scopes and everything. But the armor issues after consent of the commander.

  • @ctrackmonger What are the chances of being issued optic? Is it more common to be issued optics or to have to buy your own?

  • @4jai2brons0n

When when I was there I was a little under an hour away from Sammarra. Some of my company was there. Opitcs depends on your unit. If your unit has an armory that is full then everyone will get one for the M-4 or M 16. You can buy your own I had a scope on my M 16 cause they wouldn't give me optics. I saw people buying the rail systems and even saw a guy buy a M203 Grenade Launcher from the civilian sector but that is where they drew the line on the civilian stuff. Told him no 203

  • really? what happened?

  • 1-14inf during this... good times

  • ahh...the good ole memories of operation baton rouge, oct 2004.

  • are you crazy? thats a 2nd world war weapon, i dont know but are you reborn from the past or someting?

  • No because the mosin nagant was built in such large numbers in WWII even today there are a few of them that make their way to the modern battle field, manly for sniping but yes they do still have some in use. They work just fine just point at the enemy and pull the trigger. I'm not saying the Americans are the enemy but yeah.

  • you obviously don't know shit. the M14 is not from WWII and it is still a fabulous rifle. powerful, reliable, and very accurate.

  • you must be an expert on the US Army, right?

  • wow that was a major battle!....not, keep up the good work boys!

  • just because the cameras didn't catch any good fights dosnt mean they didn't happen. The worst fights are where the cameras dont dare go

  • wow you make airsoft videos and then make these remarks towards actual soldiers? go fuck yourself.

  • I know, I know, its just that the little made it seem like it was a major battle. Chill dude

  • Could someone clarify what that thing was at about 3:04?

  • It looks like the lock on the door that they just broke open or something...thats my guess

  • they did shoot the lock open

  • I love seeing those m-14's still being used, those terrorists over there wont get up after being hit with one of those... Anyways, safe journeys to the troops.

  • lol Terrorist.

  • good 2 see the Iraqi security force gettin some action

  • Which is why Cheyney lets companies like Blackwater do their dirty work. Private little armies no-one sees. Your words are what Generals said during Vietnam war.

  • God bless and protect you soldiers Iraqi and American in your mission.

  • just an update for u 3rd ID guys, our unit (82nd ABN) were in samarra for 15 months 06-07 and the city goes from bad to worse every goddamn month!
