Here's what I did. It's working better than anything else I've tried
Google! Sign up for an account. Use gmail to organize your emails. Use their calendar to organize your days. Put todo lists, deadline timers, etc. on your google homepage. That way every time you open your web browser (which I do a lot) you're reminded of what you're supposed to do.
Thanks for your advice! I like the idea of having lists and deadlines on a homepage - mine just comes up on the Google search screen, but it would be great to be faced with everything I need to do when I get online. I'll definitely be trying that.
I'm sorry but you asked the wrong person . My life is chaos and everything is done in a random fasion unless i deem it super important to my own satisfaction. I Wonder if thats how it was meant to be , Arnt we more harmless that way ?
Firstly, your looking yummy as ever. Secondly, Outlook has a good calender, diary, reminder thingy. I had to use it a lot when working for boral. And lastly, your still mad, but i gave you 5 stars anyway.
I'm glad you put the post-it note on your head. It was the obvious thing to do with it. (Okay actually the obvious thing to do with it is Post-It Face, but whatever.)
WOE! I couldn't get the post-its to stick to my face. Perhaps I'll try to film that over the weekend. (Yes, I want to have post-it face. I'm strange.)
Organization! You don't have a Mac, so I can't recommend that you use iCal, however you do have access to Google Calendar, so I recommend that. I use it a lot to schedule appointments and things because then I can coordinate with other people and invite them to things or let them know when I'm busy.
Also I recommend you pay attention to Twitter since I kept announcing the Word Wars like all weekend.
The only problem was that I was shooting my video while all the word warring was going on, so even though my computer was on, my Twitterfox wasn't and I logged in too late.
*woe*
I really like your idea about the Google calendar - I'll have to check that out later tonight. Thanks. :)

Btw use a grinder to cut that sword off , it'll be a bit stubbier but what the heck , you can still stab people with it :))

Hah, good thinking! I seriously couldn't pull it out of the ground, either - I wasn't acting one bit.

There's a lot to be said for being random and chaotic, definitely. :)

Put post-it notes on the cat!!
Wiccanslyr 2 years ago
Your idea is made of awesome! My new organisational process: pull random post-its off my cat and do whatever task happens to be written on it.
Katiefoolery 2 years ago
Hee. Does the cat have a SAG card?
AND OH GOD. WHEN YOU LEARN HOW TO BE ORGANIZED PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

She's far too lazy to bother applying for membership. I still can't believe the way she just decided to do all of that.
I PROMISE I WILL! I am trialling an organiser thing on my iPod as we speak. :D

The only other option seemed to be to throw it away or something, but that just didn't seem right. :D
Katiefoolery 2 years ago
I'm just saying, I have 6 packs of Post-It notes and I'm kind of tempted to do something crazy.
selfwindingwriter 2 years ago
Do eeeeeet! I mean, what else are you going to do with that many post-its? Something sensible?
Katiefoolery 2 years ago
Um... yes? (Though I believe that putting post-it notes on my face is sensible.)

It's comments like this that make me realise I feel completely at home with the fivedotnerds. :D:D
