  • if Jesus is our savior, what happened to the souls of people that died before jesus was born ?

  • this is a fantastic video. thank you for the clarity!!

  • I cried because of this verse...this is the saddest thing I know in my entire life...Jesus was abandoned by his father.....

  • This video is going to renew strength and faith of many people, This psalm was actually used by God as a major instrument in my conversion and I Thank You for having the courage and the strength to deliver the truth!!

  • wow, thank you for clraifying this, it was on my mind a while

  • Amen

  • He also asked, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do!" I hope, if I ever have to be martyred for my Lord, that I can be that faithful till the end.

  • Sin separates us from God. The bible teaches us that God turns away from sin. Immediately before Christ's death he took on all of the sin of the world. At the time he made that statement he felt separated from God as he was covered in sin. In other words, he felt forsaken.

  • Sigh.....thank you...really thank you ^_^. that has been on my head for a long time.

  • Good vid. The sweating drops of blood though - hematohidrosis, is a very real condition brought upon by extreme stress. Jesus felt human fear/anxiety just before the angel appeared to strengthen Him. He is our High Priest who can sympathise with all our weaknesses, because He has experienced them personally. After the angel He was resolute - despising the shame for the joy set before Him - His throne, His people's redemption, His victory.

  • OH WOW! I just made this Psalm 22 reference to someone else's video a day or two ago. He was referring to the prophecy of that day. Thank you for posting this!

  • Wow! That was really nice! I understand allot better now! Thank you!

  • thnx maN!!!!!!!

  • thanks for sharing. i subscribed.

  • a good point of view. quite interesting. Bless

  • Thank you for this. I learned some things I had never thought of before. I am sending you a PM as well...

  • thanks!

  • I believe this sort of teaching needs to be spoken to the masses. So many have fallen into the "sin consciousness" trap which stops the main purpose of salvation in its tracks. Thank you so much for doing this teaching!

  • Thank you for this sermon reminding me today that Jesus came to save you and

even when all this black HE IS MY LIGHT> MY PATH TO GOD THE FATHER.

  • peace & love! :)

  • what an awesome video and teaching! praise JESUS!

  • good teaching

I also wonder where people get this idea that when Jesus said these words, it is because the father turned his face from him

When that is not what was going on at all

Psa 22:24 For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, and he has not hidden his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him

    thanks for posting this video

  • This is a great video because sometimes i slip into sin,, then I feel forsaken.

  • Amen brother!! Wow! Some of this i had no idea! Thanks for sharing this brother! :) God bless you! Wow!! So everything was told before it actually happened!

God knows everything before it happens. So, so true!

  • Very helpful, thak you

  • I will admit,I was puzzeled by this saying from Jesus. It is the first sentence of Psalm 22. Great teaching. Spot on...

  • I knever knew that much detail about the combination between the fortelling in Psalms and Christ sacrifice. Your such a wise man John.

  • What an amazing breakdown of the scripture. I really got a lot of out of this and Thank You so much for your awesome knowledge. I am going to read Psalms. How amazing is this. .. God Bless You.

  • These are wise words John. I am so blessed to know the truth about Jesus' last words on the cross. Good to know the truth and be set free from traditions of men that binds us.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have been looking for the answer for so long!

I initially thought he said that because there was a separation between the father and the son because of our sins. Thanks for clearing things up!

    GOD BLESS YOU!
