I agree, it looks older. I checked their website and no Japan dates are listed for 2001. If it's from their first Japan tour, then that's the Pacific Rim tour from 2000. I know, I'm just kidding. I really like GBMS a lot--"Red Rain" and "Forever for Her" are two of my all-time favorite Stripes songs. My drummer and I always enjoy playing "Little Ghost", too, even if I don't have a mandolin. :D

No...Patrick and Little Jack are in The Greenhornes, and Little Jack is also in Blanche. There were only 3 members of The Soledad Brothers, Johnny Walker, Ben Swank and Oliver Henry ( who was only in the band for a few years).

Oh, maybe I misunderstood--I thought you were saying LJ and PK were not in The Racs. I haven't been to the MySpace page, but I've been to the Little Room Record Co. page with two of their samples and tour dates. One of Jack's older brothers has his band through that sight too--Tin Knocker. As for Walker's version of SNTSG, I like Jack's better, but Walker's is cool--much more 'rocked out' than the folksier White version. Cheers.

Yeah, there are some live versions of SNTSG from CINTHG floating around on youtube. I've really like them all, much rockier. I've heard Tin Knocker before, great band. His brothers a good guitarist.
