@tegakilove Each person is given something to do at any point. It was definatly fun trying to think of things that would fit the characters. Since we practiced a lot, we could try out lots of ideas. It also helped having someone watch the skit to see it from the audience point of view.

If you love dancing,try to find a few people who may be interested & find a way to motivate them to perform. Really, to have a great performance people need to put work behind their skits & once people realize that, they will make the effort & see the benefits. But for a group to really succeed, you need a leader to pull it together.

@EnviedCure776 To be honest, he didn't make the chainsaw around us, since he did it himself. It definately had layers to it though. So the gold designs were raised rather than just painted on, which gave it a better effect. You can definately pick up a lot of cosplay tips by doing some research on google first. For something like that though you would need access to wood cutting materials if you want it to be of high quality.

We were having a difficult time coming up with something to do for the skit. The first creation was a complete opposite to what we did. Still same cosplay though.

When I listen to music, I tend to imagine things like a video in my head. When I came across this one, I just felt in my head that it worked with the cosplay and the concept. Most of it due to the changes between the sections of songs I liked. It felt like it had segments to it. Plus I wanted something upbeat and catchy.

The masquerade this year was by far the best I have seen at Fanime -- I was so pleased with the majority of the performances -- major kudos to minna no nur puppy,for upping the competition from past years- everyone took a step up, which made the masquerade as a whole so much more enjoyable.

As a fellow competitor (I'm the leader of cupcake kingdom cosplay, group 11), I can say that I thoroughly appreciated the effort, time, among other aspects that you put into this.
