She believes that Jesus just wanted all of us to be nice to each other and that's it. Besides, she was a Sunday school teacher, she once said she taught kids that love is the most important thing. Her whole background is Christian. She knows her stuff. She is a loud XD, but also very peaceful being. I cannot imagine how God would hate her.

One thing I have learned from being both gay and Christian is that STEREOTYPES are wrong. It's wrong to stereotype gays, it's wrong to stereotype Christians. Cho stereotypes all Christians as fundamentalists. In reality, a lot of parents shun their gay kids out of social embarrassment. That does not require church, and many that mistreat their gay kids aren't really religious. Many Christians work towards gay rights and you're just ignorant of the facts if you don't know that.
I think Margaret is funny sometimes (tours) and sometimes not. I don't find this particularly funny (I am gay and Christian) because she always stereotypes Christians when there are many Christians that work towards gay rights...ELCA (Lutheran), UCC, Episcopalian. There are pro-gay Christians in almost every denomination except the most fanatical. Besides that, what she says is not original material and it's just not funny. I've seen her be funnier.
@1105Chance I totally agree. I'm Episcopalian, there are no laws affecting sexual choices and all are open to communion, its slowly changing in other churches as well. I don't find this particularly funny (I am gay and Christian) because she always stereotypes Christians when there are many Christians that work towards gay rights...ELCA (Lutheran), UCC, Episcopalian. There are pro-gay Christians in almost every denomination except the most fanatical. Besides that, what she says is not original material and it's just not funny. I've seen her be funnier.

@1105Chance I totally agree. I'm Episcopalian, there are no laws affecting sexual choices and all are open to communion, its slowly changing in other churches as well. I actually used to love her early stuff but now it just sounds kind of repetitive and a little offensive especially when you want to see more acceptance everywhere.
