They are both amazing artists. I just don't see how it can't be someone else's turn to become an Icon. Is it limited to JUST madonna??? If society won't allow for there to be any new Icons music will never grow and evolve. Lady Gaga is actually quite different from Madonna and you could find similarities anywhere in anything if thats what your looking for. Madonna is Madonna and Gaga is Gaga. Lady Gaga is the new Icon of Pop. I see nothing wrong with that.

all i saw was someone iconic being asked about a new artist in the middle of her interview.and being pretty nice about it.listen gaga is an awesome performer to us

@OGtheDragonslayer ok then why didnt she mention anything recently? she mentioned when she first met her how she ''liked'' her, in the 20/20 interview recently she called her reductive which to me is pretty catty! im not gonna lie (by the way im only 17 so i can only judge so far) im not a fan that goes to others videos and causes shit cause im not sad and madonna has certainly put her mark on the industry but i dont know she just answers questions about gaga a tad bitterly.

gaga could become better than madonna

but madonna is not potential she is a finished product

with a resume over 20 years long.as fans we dont see it from

the artist point of view.if music was a kingdom madonna is the evil queen

in her eyes gaga is the court jester.entertaining and funny but no

real shot to become the queen.

Lady gaga is completely different to Madonna!

I am not denying that there are some similarities between the two but lady gaga is way more unique and fun!

Gaga has worked so hard to get to where she is now and I hate it when anyone puts her down because she means so much to me!

I know this sounds cheesy but it is true in my opinion!
