its works pretty good for Tp4 but the only thing that bugs me ( sort of) is the soccer ball shapes. maybe i should wait for another version and meanwhile should relay on RF tool.
@MattDuVall Yes - apologies for that. I'm not sure why only partial screen updates were captured. Unfortunately, I can't recreate my SIGGRAPH demo at the moment as I no longer have those demo scenes.
Look out for new demos from SIGRRAPH 2010 later this year though.
AFAIK that is a licensing error. Make sure that IP-CLAMP is installed and your serial number authorised. Also check that any firewalls have 'holes' for the IP-CLAMP port you're using.
I have ip-clamp installed, and my serial is authorised. when imported the license file in the program, it said: Success! But when I run it in 3ds max, it shows me this error! What can I do to fix it?
Nice. Best implimentation of Voronoi and user workflow I've seen. Can you add noise to the voronoi cuts to break up the edges so it's not so "Soccer Ball" looking in the fragments?
It would be interesting to see some dynamic interaction with mesh collision and interactive demolition, like with Rayfire Tool. For breaking Volumes I can use a free script called fracture voronoi but it would be interesting to see some interaction.
Fracture Voronoi is a great script and if it does what you need then great.
volumeBreaker, however, is much faster and also provides interactive feedback in the viewport. As well as support many other options that Fracture Voroni does not.
how it is with interactive demolition? Is there such a feature present? For example if I shoot a wall, it breaks and the big chunks that collide with the floor break up to many little parts...possible with volumeBreaker?
Please post some vidz with dynamic interaction + dynamic fracturing.
volumeBreaker is a pre-fracturing tool only - it doesn't include any physics or rigid body simultation. You'd need something like PFlow or ThinkingParticles to do the dynamics.
VB is included with 3DS right?

@BMAnnArbor No - VB is a separate product in it's own right.

terrible video recoder why bother with the upload if you saw that it froze.

i have no idea how you got that realtime update in viewport that fast.

The video freezes at the most important part - the interior geometry material.

I have a serious problem! Please Help me! When I try to run VolumeBreaker, it says: Internal Error (10)! How the heck can I fix this?

Unfortunately not at the moment. I'll suggest that to the development team.

so awesome>Thank you man!

how do I use reactor with it? It seems reactor doesnt recognize the broken down pieces and still only takes the whole box...
nice tutorial btw =)

@CowboyKing I've been meaning to write a Reactor + VB tutorial for a while. I'll post a link here when I get it done.

Is it fully volumetric?

@nagualdesign - It is fully volumetric.

Well volumeBreaker and Rayfire do different things. They're not competing products - more complimentary to one another.
