The story is an old fable called the scorpion and the frog. They changed the frog to a bat for obvious reasons. The fable is supposed to illustrate that sometimes it is simply in a creature or person's nature to behave in such a way, no matter how they are treated or the consequence of their actions. I think its a great story to parallel with the Joker's personality.

Folks, unless you read the article on Game Rant.com, then you don't know that it has been confirmed that Mark Hamill IS NOT retiring after Arkham City. It was a rumor someone started a while ago. Hamill did admit that while Arkham City will be hard to top, he had no intention of retiring himself from the role of the Joker!!! So therefore, he's still in it to win it!!

I am sure Mark Hamill has his reasons to retire form voicing the Joker .But come on!! No one retires just like that. I mean look at Peter Cullen. He has been voicing Optimus Prime since the 80s and his still not done with the character.

I think Mark Hamil does a much better Joker than Heath Ledger who does a more focused psychotic Joker, where Hamil does a more crazier, goofier, and unpredictable Joker which fits the character more. Too bad Arkham City will be the last time he voices the Joer though

Mark Hamill is the best voice over Joker of all time. And I liked him as Luke...

Aw, Damn, Mark you've done it again you awesome bastard! It's a shame that after Arkham City it'll be the last time you ever Voice our loveable Mr J, but atleast we'll have the memories! I'm kind of hoping that they get John Dimaggio to voice Mr J, his version of him in 'Under the Red Hood' was pretty good, but to me, Mark Hamill will always be the Best version of The Joker ever..
