This game has a boss soundtrack and gameplay. It lacks a well thought out narrative though. Crysis one did have a good narrative. However, this game really only peripherally relates to the first game.
I seem to remember that at the very beginning of the game, Alcatraz was suffering from a major hangover. Combine that with fatal injuries, he probably doesn't have the energy to talk much. I personally think that there might be some kind of mental mind meld going on between Alcatraz and Prophet, cause you kind of hear two voices when he delivers the line of badassness. That, or Prophet just hijacked the suit speakers to talk for Alcatraz.
I love that scene so much. Fighting throughout New York, and then saving the world from an alien virus, before stepping out of the ruins and announce yourself to the world...how much cooler is that XD
I am imagining the video clip from the game during the song.. It makes me want to play the game even more.. ;~; I wish Sony would hurry up with their network.. =/
@Minstas no , Alcatraz is dead he can't speak and in the end prophet sayd they call me prophet Alcatraz is just a man in the nanosuit prophet control him.
@Minstas I'm guessing that Prophet is simply like Cortana to Alcatraz, and that Alcatraz had his brain damaged to the point where he could not speak, but during the game the suit is repairing Al's brain so that he could speak. And why is Al calling itself Prophet? My guess is that on the same time Al's memories were fried and because most people called him Prophet so he started calling himself Prophet. Or he thought it was a cool name, OR he has a huge identity crYsis. (puns ftw)
@necrontyr1800 you should get it while its hot, you wont miss out on much. Just finer graphics and a better framerate on the PC version. I beat the game on the 360, superb stuff. IMO its the best looking game on the 360. PS3 gameplay looks exactly the same, so choose whichever and you will surely get a premium product.

@gbtygfvyg Alcatraz can't speak during the game, but at the ending he can. The nanosuit fix his vocals ....
Minstas 10 months ago
@Minstas Alcatraz didn't talk at the end. The suit did. Listen to it again, it sounds exactly like Prophet except like it's coming from a radio.

@gbtygfvyg Alcatraz have the voice of Prophet.

96tolga 9 months ago
@96tolga I think this :
Alcatraz isn't dead, he's alive.
But Prophet is also here, but he is THE AI of the Nanosuit 2.
He say "You and me marine" and "We gotta go back"
Alcatraz is in the nanosuit, and prophet is the AI.

@Minstas yes , maybe but i wait crysis 3 for understand ;)
