Don't feel sorry for him, he's fine. I'm a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult), and I've grown up in the deaf culture, signing as my first language. The last thing deaf people want is pity, they aren't different, they're just like you guys and myself. I know you all mean well, but it's kind of insulting to them and it bothers me as well to be honest. Matt Hamill is a great fighter, and him being deaf is nothing to feel sorry for.

I literally watched the Hamill v Jones fight 5 minutes ago. Whilst it's obvious Jones had it 'won' before the elbows, Hamill still survived a brutal ground and pount for roughly a minute, brilliant defense and before the last few elbows (not just the 12-6 ones), he didnt have THAT much dmg considering it was JONES throwing them.

Hamill, you were one of the first people I ever saw fight MMA, you are an inspiration to people in general to show heart, determination and courage. Good luck in Life.
