I'm in 6th grade I was an exchange student in 1st grade . I never learned the diff between short and long vowels till now. And I also lived of 4 years w/o knowing lol. I'm In advance classes :P

My cousin recently came from China and is going to English school. She has to learn vowels. I am in seventh grade and I have forgotten the short vowels. I'm glad this video saved me!! I looked smart.

I really like your short vowel song and use it in my first grade class. There is really an emphasis to drive home the short vowels and what better way to reinforce your teaching than with music. I would ask that you possibly make a consideration with the usage of upper case letters. When children start to read and associate letters with sounds, the letters are lower case. Could you look at changing the upper case letters into lower case letters to really hit the letter sound connection?
