Best method :) Slight adjustment tho, you say the guy defusing does it slightly quicker than you so when he gets it down to 10% you need to start over. BUT you hack at different speeds depending on how close you are to the box. SO if you stand at the right distance away you will both be hacking at same speed meaning you can literally leave the game to it. If % going down you need to move slightly closer, if it going up you need to move away. Adjust until % stays the same then leave for 25mins :)

@jadenjones13 Typical wow-nerds to not understand something that's already been explained.. how can i make it even more clear >_< NPC stands for Non-Player Character which in other worlds mean that the character in question is controlled by the game (what you incorrectly call cpu)

to take your example of a shopkeeper in a mmo-rpg game, it aswell is controlled by something right? (some from the game some from the server) thus making it an NPC.

i.e they're still the same thing, doing different

Its simple when you think about it. A NPC is a computer controlled character that you CAN NOT PLAY under any circumstances!

But a CPU is different because if you wanted to you can play as the character the computer is playing as. This normally applies in most fighter because you can usually play any character the computer decides to play as. That's why if you ever play any fighter in the history of man they call it a CPU. This is also applied in this game. hold up to long comment.

@Zeaox No, see there's where you're incorrect.. an NPC is a char that's not a player ( on that we agree) it can still be playable but as long as it's the game that's controlling it, it's considered an NPC since it's not a player controlling it. As to your point that this applies to FPS games you'd still be wrong, granted most of my gaming is from mmos i've played Fps games more many years so yeah i do in fact know what i'm talking about and have enough experience to know what's right and wrong.

Dude you cant EVER play as a NPC or else it would not be a NPC. I mean look at the definition, NON PLAYABLE CHARACTER!! As in no matter what you can never ever play as that character. Even in MMORPGs. I know I played the older ones Like Diablo 2 LOD. There are NPCs. But in this case its a CPU because you can play as that character. Does that make sense?

As I was saying it is applied in this game because the engineer class is playable. It would be a NPC if you could never ever play as the engineer class but that is not the case. Besides I'm surprised you never heard of a CPu in your' " Many years of gaming." You should play more games that's not OHHH EMMM GEEZZZZ FIRST PERSON SHOOOTER!!! Or something. Hell even if you play that Black ops has CPU's. Shit they even say, " Set CPU difficulty level."

Another way to do this is with two people. Security will get more Xp while both people are interacting with the hackbox at once.

While waiting for Security to defuse the hackbox, if it gets too far; the Operative can use Homing Beacon for an additional 50 Xp every few seconds on the Security member.

You could also do the bomb boosting in the second half of the game as well, taking turns planting and defusing until the end.

Hmm. If I hack while he removes, it still keeps going up for me. I am hacking faster than he is unhacking. Myabe I bought a perk that I shouldn't have bothered with or something. Even so it gets me some good XP

@Zeaox OR play the resistance reactor level hack the fans and camp near the controls for it he won't attack you and you get 75 xp each time until 20k then it goes to 50
