  • nobody i know gets on their bike from the right. come on.

  • wtf i was taught to ALWAYS get on and off from the left side

  • thats so stupid, the bikes stand is on the left side, as you can see it lowers the bike down to the left so you can get on it easier, also like Rnr182 said you will burn your leg.... this guy clearly has no idea.

  • This video series helped me to NOT look like an ass when I went for my licenses. Thanks for the tutorials.

  • my MSF course instructor said to always get on from the left side where the kickstand is so the bike does not tilt or fall over. And what does the front brake have to do when the engine is not even in gear? your not on a hill to begin with. stupid vid GTFO of here.

  • Well if it's a kick start the kick start is normally on the right side, the side this guy is telling us to mount from which makes sense... I dunno why so many ppl are complaining.

  • @Morfesto muppet...you dont kick start it until you get on it. you dont know a lot which is why you dont know why ppl are complaining. get some real training and someone get this bunch of muppet instructors to stop teaching or trying to teach!

  • @simon101101ko61 Wrong... you can do both... look up kickstart bobber and kickstart Harley on youtube plenty of videos of ppl kickstarting their bikes while not on them.

  • @Morfesto FAIL...didnt say you couldnt do it...its just plain stupid to and would never be taught by any descent instructor.

  • so much wrong with this video

  • why not just approach from the stand side of the bike? Put your hand on the right brake and then put your leg over onto the back brake..... this video is so wrong, try mounting my bike from the other side...... very hard as your leaning onto the stand which could easily give when a persons weight is put on it....

  • it's not right to mount from the high side... go back to MSF training. :)

  • hhmmm, i know at least 4 people who ride, none of them get on this way, and never in my life have i seen anyone ever get on the bike on the right. i guess everyone is doing it wrong

  • Only americans need lessons on how to mount a motorcycle. Notice that only in america do motoryclists mount the motorcycle from the wrong side. One should only mount a motorcycle from the left side. It just shows how incorrect americans are in their direction of riding. Just another example of how really lame these obese americans are.

  • @Tophairybutt Just because these two are complete idiots I assure you they are the exception not the rule. Where are you from if I might ask? I can guarantee your country is filled with stupid fucks as well, incompetence and stupidity are not confined to a single area of the world.

  • The kickstand is on the left for a reason. Get on from that side. The brake argument is lame. If you can't reach across your bike, stay off it until you grow up.

  • I'm new to this but why would you need to grab the front brake if you did not even turn on the bike

  • Thats dumb.... you mount from the low side..... We call it the kickstand side..... Mounting and dismounting from the high side is a great way to do a face-plant on the street... Try mounting a KLR-650 from the high side-- I'll help you up off the pavement!!!!

  • In America, it makes a little bit of sense to get on the right side, as the pavement (Sidewalk) is on that side, and you drive on that side. However, here in the UK, if I saw someone get onto their bike from that side, I would go over to them and tell them to take their test again.

  • stupid...

    go on left side...sit down...drive!

  • u shud gt on left nd plus ... u dull basterds why am i wathcin this

  • As soon as he said, Aproach from the right side i shut off the video.

    Damn these guys are stupid.

  • well if ur sitting further back then ur goin high speeds and when ur goin high speeds ur supposed to counter steer

  • i want to see you get on my yamaha venture from the right side LOL over 700 pounds falling on you hurts like hell. i was allways taught mount the bike from the left if it starts to tip the stand will prevent it from comming all the way over. now i do have problems getting on this bike as im 5 ft 9 verry small inseam. i do have to drag my right leg over the seat getting on and off the bike but thats not so bad

  • Sorry!! but mounting from the Rt. side is so wrong. Almost all bikes have the exhaust on the Rt side, your teaching new riders to mount from the hot side of the Bike? Why?

Anybody mounting from this side has surely burned their Lf. leg.

I've been riding longer then this guy been alive, don't waste your time watching him.

  • that make more sence.

  • What a joke

  • i know left side dumb asses. he didn't even put the kicks stand up

  • how about wearing a helmet b4 getting on?

  • I was taught to get on the left side not the right because the bike would fall over if your foot gets caught on the seat or you lose your balance. Doesnt make any sense.

  • i prefer the left side too.

  • ya i like geting on and off the left side. just becuase of thos reasons

  • @djnavi941 same lol when i last got on from thr right i burnt my leg lol :)

  • u should get off on the left hand side because if the bike starts to tip with u the stand it there to stop it... if you get off and the right hand side the bike can just fall
