after 3 weeks into the high intensity program iv gain a inch on my arms and 3 inchs on my chest after 3 weeks!! im gonna keep on doing it for a another year before my next contest cant wait to see my gains in the future
No, he is saying YOU MUST GO TO FAILURE, but there's a optimal range of reps for each exercise. IF the optimal range is 6-10, and you can do 14 reps, you must do 14, But keep in mind that the next time youdo that workout you must increase weight in order to stay in 6-10 reps.
Even if you had streched ran on a treadmill or did what ever if your gonna get injured your gonna get injured study have shown that over streching prior to working out actually causes more injuries than it prevents think baseball players and theyre recent hip problems (AROD, Utley, ect.) they have theyre trainers press down on theyre feet and oush on theyre hip cause the hip capusule to pop.
"The goal is not to see how many sets you can mindlessly endure but to intelligently, knowingly, rationally, logically do only what nature requires to activate the growth mechanism and no more."
Now that's inspiration.

I am confused if I started reping out 500lb deadlifts with no warm up sets. wouldn't I hurt my back or harmstring.
