Puppies are a LOT of work if you do it the right way. I recommend reading books about your specific breed about how to train them, and properly socialize them. You need to make sure you feed them really good food, as shih-tzu's are allergic to a lot of stuff, and you also need to properly exercise them every day.
Absolutely ADORABLE!! It seems like only yesterday my shih tzu was running around like a maniac, now she's turning 7 this week and usually acts like a very mature, and "proper" dog... but every now and then she reverts to her puppy self and runs around like a maniac!
