  • in pakistan last year happened exactly the same phenomena and it was a god's gift cause it happpened in flood areas reducing mosqitoes population and of course limiting malaria disease. Exactly in extreme moisture we have more flies and mosqitoes and more spiders and probably socializing

  • well thats cool, with spiders like that u dont have to decorate for halloween

  • i think i died inside

  • Why is it when you run into a spider web, you suddenly turn into a ninja?

  • SpiderMan?

  • I have seen something weird like this recently, near where I live in south wales,uk. I have never seen anything like it before. I didn't know if it was a moth or a spider but it infested several hedges in one area, completely stripping the the branches of any greenery. it turned my stomach because it looked so diseased and un-natural, or rather unlike anything I had seen before.... Is this part of planet changes?

  • @rebrand68 probably moths could be... if the webs were covering branches from side to side at long distances then there would be spiders. moths can't perfrorm balloning or transfered to big distances from tree to tree or branch to branch of a tree or a bush. Moths leave a thread when falling from branch to ground because of gravity but spiders hats a different story. Such nest on pine trees in my country is seen and can dry out it close to dying it from infestations (Greece)

  • SPIDERS WORKING TOGETHER WERE FUCKED

  • @dnelly LOL best comment!

  • Notice how the lady was about to mention that people should work together to solve problems like the spiders did... and then they cut her off because they dont want people to have that message. Mass media wants to divide and conquer, not join people together.

  • @DJTripleThreat78 this is completely true and something similar came up in my garden two years before a webbing.. 4 metres high and 2 metres wide full of cyrtophora criticola spiders (found that just googling) climate do that heavy moisture and less cold more mosquitoes and flies but also more spiders otherwise we would overwhelmed by diseases...

  • a spiderman u got compation

  • DAMN NATURE! YOU SCARY!

  • @SpectreGray You just made my day(:

  • I would burn all of it down with a flame thrower

  • Humans can learn of this kinda cooperation

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • That Spider's an Engineer!

Well, spiders. Spiders of the genus Conagher...

  • her dumb ass dont know shit shes a staff at a park in texas lol

  • WTF?

  • reminds me of the hobbit

  • I like how spiders, probably one of the most loner species, are able to set aside differences and work together to survive as a whole, but we, as humans, are incapable of this..

  • It's a spider orgy!! Bonnnn chicka wah wah

They try to make a nice "stay outta my business" web cuz you can barely see through it....and you guys bring cameras with wide angle zoom lenses GAH!

    XD.....so rude!

  • Omg, Aragog lives in the heart of that forest.

  • coolest "INTER" NET ever made....and this one was made by an animal with a pint-sized IQ comparing the most intelligent animal specie O_o

  • its called the inter-web

  • The next thing you'll hear is spiders joining forces to eradicate the world of the pesky humans who kept stepping and squashing them and destroying their webs.

  • These are tunnelweb spiders. Fairly common and they always do that.

  • they say spiders don't work together

  • @FanGurlzZ far from true 45000 spider spiecies and propably around 55000 about 100 of them can become social and many more under climate and more prey generally some circumstances can create colonies and become social...completely different world from ants or bees all spiders create webs all females protect their small and eggs they mate and prey on groups until they die out as time pass or extend to colonise other places (of course there are no soldiers or workers like bees or ants)

  • wow! its like 1 of those scary movies imagine getting lost in the middle of texas and u stumble upon a whole forset full of webs and its residents, wow

  • dam nature, u scary!

  • So this is where Spiderman masturbates... And those billions of spiders? You know, we release millions of sperm each time we ejaculate. Just saying... :)

  • I for one welcome our new arachnid overlords.

  • BURN IT THE FUCK DOWN before it snares a dwarf... also can u say PUSSY! 1:10

  • @xxK33F3xx LOL ! I had to laugh when I read that ! Lmao !!

  • went and saw this a couple weeks ago and sadly its not as bright white and thick like it is in the video.

kinda sad really i wanted to see it in its prime.

  • theres something in the mist!!

  • .....suddenly I feel as though I'm in the movie 'Evolution'

  • ha I went and saw that web well down here in texas everythings big as fuck XD

  • one of the spiders that live in colonies is cyrtophora citricolus and make huge webs

There is a colony of these in my yard about 2 .50 metres hight and 1.50 metre wide and is expanding.... i guess its the next spider that probably act like ants or bees in the future creating huge webs covering whole trees. I expect the tree next t the bush/fence will be covered in summer

  • THere gonna go against us ; its arachnaophobia all over again

  • they're prolly uniting to eliminate the human race.... I hate spiders!! Dx

  • 200 yards wide....... damn.

  • looks like they want be in gunnis world record

  • I feel itchy

  • lmao

  • lol its still growing? :O thats freaky

  • wow.... its like something out of a horror movie or something

  • Its the end of the world

    but no spider apocolyps

  • Those spiders were plotting an organized takeover!

  • marvel ultimate alliance 3

  • Hope they don't move on to larger prey.

  • maybe they already did :|

  • Dude, this forrest look haunted lol!

  • spiderman had no comment.

  • wow thats what i call team work!

  • Evolution still happens.

  • yep!

  • someone needs to flame thrower that place down lol

  • this like that harry potter movie

  • Theres a web around here in IL that covers a whole tree that hangs over a road but nothing nearly as frightening as that.

We're going to need a flamethrower for this one...

  • Let's search that spider!!

And Let's eat it up :o

  • hahaha im down!!! ;)

  • That had to be a big spider :P

  • Reminds of the mist ;)

  • the spiders got excited ;-P lol jk

  • EVOLUTION!!! spiders were meant to feed on us lol

  • Evolution in action.

  • I'm gonna burn it...

  • i have a better idea blow it up by a nuclear bomb

  • i have a better idea blow it up with a nuclear bomb

  • Sounds tempting...

  • wow it makes you think that thows typ of spiders are becomeing smarter and thay probly know that well 2 hears are better then one sorta thing thay get food esayer thay have more space to have kids who knows maybe thay might exspand some more? its achuly kinda scary to think that there cabable of things like that :-/

  • such a thing haves a 0,000000001 chance to happen and if it happens it will be in like 400 years

mebby someday they become so much they come for a hunt :D -LoL-

  • wow kwl

  • i hope it dosen't cover all of texas.....I LIVE IN TEXAS

  • careface

  • holy crap O_O

  • Haha, I thought it was an internet super computer at first.

  • This is nothing short of amazing. After watching this video(as well as an episode about it on Monsterquest on the History Channel), I have a better respect for spiders in general. Yeah, they might be scary to look at, but you have to admit this--they did a damn good job of building a nice little habitat for themselves.

  • Lol I'm watching that episode of Monsterquest right now thats why i looked this up, it really is amazing

  • FORCES UNITE!! those are some damn smart spiders

  • OMG!

  • so is it milk?

  • a world wide web?

  • lolol

  • haha, thumbs up

  • what if you tripped and fell in that bitch

  • No one would ever find you if you fell in. I HATE spiders, so if I fell in that, I would literally piss a waterfall

  • spider rebellion! the spiders are planning against us! lol.

  • Shelob !

  • I can't even begin to express how happy I am that there is the better part of the country between me and that spiderweb. I'm all for exterminating mosquitoes but that web is terrifying.

  • I think mosquitos are the only creature in the world that could go extinct and nobody would mind. Bar everybody being happy! Kill those malaria-carrying bastards! Yes good spiders! Drain their juices! DRAIN THEM DRY!!!!

  • Good thing you aren't paid to think.

  • Killing mosquitos? Good. We need more of these. It'd clean up malaria no problem...

But hang on... those mosquitos have been biting humans... which means those spiders have gotten the taste of human blood!!! Oh shit!

  • Kill them now before they learn our technology.

  • @ngK44 this not far from true my friend... in africa malaria is a menace...but there is a jumping spider that kills anopheles mosqito that spreads malaria but quess what... the jumping spider will attack more the anopheles if that mosqitoe have already bitten and tasted human blood for mating purposes cause human blood have pheromones and these ones prefer the female spider to mate the male. This spider is Evarcha culicivora completely harmless as all jumpers are

  • "I'll just watch it on TV"

LOL Smart news reporter. Exactly what I was thinking.

  • Dammnit SPIDER-MAN strikes again!!!

  • i'm sorry that i posted it twice.. did sometin wrong. BTW Thats awesome;| i dont wanna walk in to that

  • I have a video of also a tree full of webs!

but then it are caterpillars who made that web.. i called it The Dutch Tree Of Death! *Huge Webs From Caterpillars* go watch it;) its sick.

  • I have a video of also a tree full of webs!

but then it are caterpillars who made that web.. i called it The Dutch Tree Of Death! *2008* go watch it;) its sick.

  • I just amazed at the bias of this report. Here are the facts: thousands of spiders are evolving, cooperating and building the largest spider web in the world- and NO ONE is doing ANYTHING about it! Where is the National Guard? Where is homeland security? someone needs to torch this monstrosity before other spiders join this unholy perversion of nature!

p.s. I literally vomited in my own mouth while watching this

  • "Spiderman Wuz here"

  • everythings bigger in texas

  • they want to get in the world's record book

  • i would not be suprised if in one of the webs, it was written"spiderman was here'...

  • lmao that would be sum funny shit haha

  • in the one hand more bugs die, in the other they r learning!!!!!!

  • who needs mosquitos anyway? i h8 em.

  • Its Charlets Web... on steroids!

  • Thats close to where i live O_o... How come i never heard of it before now. Man i wanted to see it :(

  • thats insane!

  • well at least there killing those damn mosquitos

  • id have 6 guys with flamethrowers take it down, thats bullshit

  • I 3rd that.

  • Yeah like we need to waste more oil and kill a natural wonder. Typical Texan.....

  • lol I'm quite flattered that you think I'm from texas however I live in upstate NY

  • Haha congratulations. But yeah like I said "like we need to waste more oil and kill a natural wonder".

  • yeah i had my own non news stuff up but nobody shows more than the same view. Unsure why. I have some stuff on it off my site of course not found on here and all. It was really something

  • what the heck wtf

  • cool that spiders and small life know how to unite forces to survive

  • Awesome....

  • spiderman told them to

  • But how did he shot webs?

  • LURK MOAR!

  • well it shows that all kinds of difrent spiders work togeather look at what they achive

    that RULES us OUT

  • ahahahaha

  • We do? Exactly what part of South East London are you from?! LOL

  • We have these in australia too

Mataranka Springs in the NT has some mad curtains that block out whole sections of jungle

  • Sod the story, that was possibly the most dramatic see you tomorrow and goodnight I've ever heard!!

  • Just showing evolution in motion...

  • there's spiders that do tha in africa too

  • scary

  • supercool

  • If they look close enough in that web they'll probably find a casino. XD

  • Spiders are the koolest in the nation man.. This is truly outragous x10!!
