Uhhh...this is either really flat or in F sharp major....maybe because the performer is playing on a period instrument that's not at 440,442 etc. Weird

@Shrieken213 @Schubertfinished I don't know the specific details, I've never performed in a period orchestra. But I think the "authentic" tuning for the Classical period was somewhere in the 420s, while the modern is 440. Hence a piece in G major actually sounds closer to F-sharp major, D closer to D-flat, etc.

@neoaelis So? I'm thirteen and I can play it on my flute just as well... age isn't a huge factor in the love of music. It's not that impressive to play this at 13 - heck, this piece isn't even that hard :) this will be my audition piece for our high school wind ensemble in a couple of weeks.

I had an audition on this last weekend, I had this piece down so well, but then there was a fire alarm and when we went back in for scales I absolutely failed. I didn't make the cut off by a point :/, the piece holds bad memories but it still is really beautiful.

i'm playing on the flute at the moment for my NCO audition. i auditioned last year. but failed. hoping to get in this year. Absolutley gorgeous peice! i love it. it has such feeling but you cant put a foot wrong in mozart because it shows immensly. Mozart is very difficult because it shows your every movement. BUT I LOVE IT SOOOOO MUCH!
