Thanks for the video... great stuff! I was on the East Side of Simi at the time... On Cynthia street. I love seeing old Simi footage... I don't suppose you have more? Thanks again for the fun video.
Thanks for the note, I do have afew more home movies of Simi in the 60's, might even have building of the tract homes. If I can dig it up I'll post it so please check back.
fuller avenue!? omg wow i grew up on Whitcomb avenue right between Rosecrans and Elizondo and i could never imagine everyone owning those oldies cars!! although on whitcomb there is still a house 13?? cant remember, they are an old couple and own a green pea colored car like that!!! how funny!
About 1/2 of the vid didn't work--the soundtrack continued, but the screen was black. I was trying to figure out if I knew any of the kids. My older brother was a super 8 film maker as well back then. You guys were about a mile away.
Try it on a different computer/monitor. It is dark I tried to fiddle with it. It's a film to VHS to digital. Those kids were Ethan and Howard Rotman about your age. I was Royal "72
@trumpetmike1 sweet, I lived on Hilllary ct. about a mile and a half away. though I lived there in the mid 80s. We just went down with MY kids (we live in southern Oregon) and visited. STILL a great city, so is Thousand Oaks.
I used a Macintosh program called imovie. You drag in the movie file and and any sound you want, it's fairly simple. The music is from a classic western called "The Goood Bad and the Ugly"See you in school !

Imagine the music from the "Good Band and the Ugly" which I had with this, and was removed because of copyright infringement. Sorry Clint

Hello Mr.Rotman! Cool video and which one are you? It's very hard to notice.

Hi Mr. Rotman!! This was very funny! How'd you put the music in? Very cool indeed.
