I am aware of those interpretation of the revelation where they see Babylon as a religion. However, most of those interpretaion are full of history-facts and they do not account for the prophets (Is., Jer, Hk.)

"I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman" Jer. 6:2

The woman in Rev. 12 is the true Church, the woman in Rev. 17 is the compromising, false church. Rev. 17:5

Notice also this Babylon false church is a mother, has many daughters, and SITS on a beast, meaning she controls a nation.

Yes, the bible speaks about two babylons in the end times as you say. Mother Babylon and Daughter Babylon. In Is. 47, you can see the prophet speak about a land "Daughter of Babylonians", and Jer. 50, when speakign about the other, he says v. 12:
