Hip hop and pop are just what is HIP today and will not be tomorrow. No body stays the same..everyone eventually reaches the threshold of Rock where they will find new meanings for music. Its all about evolution and its just that we have already evolved and the 92% have not.

I believed "rock is dead", but I now see a faint hope. I fail to understand how can people classify synthetic sounds as music. No instruments, no emotions, no thoughts behind the song. Just some beats that sounds like noise and scantily clad women are more popular in the name of music.(This is the scene on most of the music video channels) They can be called songs with rythm but definately not "music". I would prefer to call it a cabret or something similar.
