I have to say that both artists have their uniqueness for singing this song. It's honestly a personal preference to comment.

But for me, I prefer the original artist, Ben Montague. =)

mmm...actually sezairi's rendition has got more emotions to this original. And of course, the music arrangement for sezairi's rendition is more suiting. In all, i would say, sezairi's version beats the original hands down. No offense to Mr Ben Montague. Way to go, Singapore!

As much a Sezairi fan I am, Ben's voice suits this song more nicely than Sezairi does. He just has that clearer tone in his voice.

Though at the same time I honestly believe no one else in Singapore, or even Asia for that matter, can match this kind of tone as well as Sezairi does.

@MNasrei when i first listen to Sez i couldnt pick up all the lyrics; it took me a few runs bef i caught up with all the lyrics. So i think it boils down to just that - the accentuation. Voice-wise, its a matter of preference.

Very true it's a matter of preference. Actually listening to it again, I think for me the difference is that when Ben sings this he has a variation of tone for different verses in the song, whereas Sezairi kept it cool and calm, maintaining the same emotion throughout. So yea, different people will have different preferences, I prefer this one but Sezairi's one is still very much listenable!
