Interesting, but the fact that the highway is closed, that no cars are going to be coming, takes away the suspense and sense of danger. Not that I want you to be hit, but, purely cinematically, the danger/comedy/interest of a guy setting up an ironing board on a highway only works for me if there are cars screeching or swerving.
