Would ou happen to know what happened to thedragon over the summer and when or if it will appear again? I agree with mattalfredd, they should bring the old dragon back in the meantime. :)

I work the graveyard (night) shift there & almost every night between the hours of 2 to 5 am. they bring up the dragon from the pit & start working & testing it.
what bugs me is people that are constantly correcting everyone in calling it he or she. The thing is a machine. The old one was called "bucky" which is a male name. the new one is "murphy" which is also a male name. So it really doesnt matter.

Supposedly, a few days ago, they were running a final test on the new dragon, but were unsuccessful. Disney is now thinking that their new dragon won't be ready for the end of Nightastic. They are trying there best, but they are expecting the dragon to make his debut between September and October.
that pisses me off, why would they play around with it without the animator there, he's knows what to do so if they didnt play around with it and let the animator do it a couple days later, we'd be seeing a dragon!
Fall well thats great cause the rivers of america is set for refurbishement in January which means we only get four months at best thats assuming they don't accidentally mess it up again

it's not Disney's fault people! apparently it's garner holt's fault for messing around with the dragon! if they had'nt done that, there would've been a dragon when Summer Nightmastic started. Maybe now they'll stick with Disney Imagineering. °o°

Basically, the valves were forced extremely amazingly hard and skipped more then 2000 position points. Utterly destroying the inside of the dragon.

Fantasmic doesnt even show during Sept or Oct
It shows during the summer then in Nov-Dec.
then goes under a refurbishment in Jan-May.
