So apparently I lost the Exeter on this level, but was still able to finish the mission successfully, even though the objectives specifically said I needed to keep her floating and operational >_>

This lvl on veteran is damn difficult, your destroyers will usually get fucked by the airplanes early on and by the time u fight the japanese battleship group u will be greatly deprived of power.
