the reason ivey cant raise the hand is that he misplayed it earlier in the hand. he should have reraised the flop thinking that matasow might have had JJ or KQ or a suited pocket pair. assuming that they were playing out of a shoe with multiple decks, you have to split pocket aces there and double down if you get close to 21. ivey was 25% underdog to any two cards in that spot. ivey also had to be aware that there were at least two jokers left and that matasow plays alot of crazy eights

I see very little that a bluff can represent here, except maybe, "I flopped a set of 3s or a straight, gave you no credit for a flush draw, and still show no fear of JJ or QQ, so NOW I'm going to value raise big." That or maybe A5 clubs reaching a backdoor flush draw, which would be less likely. And as the commentator says, it looks like Matusow makes that bet with the intention of catching a bluff raise. Ivey may have been Hollywooding rather than considering a raise.
